With the 2009 Dakar over the Nissans did incredibly well with Ivar Tollefsen and Quin Evans taking 4th position and Krzysztof Holowczyc and Jean-Marc Fortin taking 5th.

Skycar Expedition launched with support from GoRaid.

Skycar is world's first bio-fueled flying car and yesterday, 14th January, the team set out on an intrepid maiden voyage from London to Timbuktu, crossing the Sahara desert.

The Skycar will be supported from the ground during the expedition by GoRaid’s Ben Gott who will supply the equipment knowledge and expertise to keep the show on the road.

The Vehicle is a high performance, road legal, bio-fueled flying car; capable of providing rally car performance on and off road, and light aircraft performance after just a few minutes of wing preparation.

The expedition crew will travel through France, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania and Mali to Timbuktu. The Parajet Skycar will demonstrate its off-road ability on the ground, but will also provide invaluable aerial reconnaissance guiding the expedition through the sands of the Sahara.
