Starting with terrain reminicent of a rocky Moroccan stage after a very short liaison leads to sandy sections and lots of off-piste dirivng, reading the road will be essential.

On and off track there will be numerous chances for mistakes to be made and a relatively long stage will mean concentration levels will be tested.

The day is likely to show a big range of times between leaders and those chasing at the rear to keep up.
