The first really testing dunes (pity those that struggled on day 2!) coupled with a reasonably long stage will combine to create the most significant challenge so far (and crews have already set off early on their long liaison).

The route will vary in surface, terrain and technicality with riverbeds being a feature - wrong turning will quickly lead up the wrong tributory for navigators that relax too much, and drivers must be constantly aware of the numerous traps.
